Terms of Use
Pathagara is a free Odia dictionary and library. These terms set out how the site may be used.
Using the site
By using Pathagara you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Pathagara is offered free of charge for personal reading, study and reference.
What you may do
- Look up words, read books online, search, save lists and share links to pages.
- Quote short passages for study, criticism or teaching, with credit to the author and Pathagara.
What you may not do
- Copy the dictionary or library in bulk, or use bots, scrapers or scripts to download books, pages, word lists or recommendations.
- Try to bypass the reading view, the rate limits or other protections, or reach files and services that are not meant to be public.
- Overload the site, probe it for weaknesses or interfere with other readers.
- Republish books or the dictionary elsewhere, or sell them, without permission from the rights holder.
We may slow down or block traffic that breaks these rules.
Books and content
Books in the library belong to their authors, publishers or heirs, or are in the public domain. Pathagara shows them for reading and does not claim ownership of the works. The dictionary, design and software of the site belong to Pathagara unless stated otherwise.
If you hold rights to a work and want it changed or removed, write to contact@pathagara.in with the book title, the page address and how you hold the rights. We will look at every request promptly.
Accuracy
We work to keep meanings, spellings and scanned texts correct, but errors happen in a dictionary and in digitised books. Automatic features such as Odia spelling suggestions and book recommendations are aids, not authorities. Please tell us about mistakes.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Pathagara is not liable for losses that come from using the site.
Links
The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
