(ଦ୍ୱିଗୁ; ପଞ୍ଚ+ମହାପାତକ) — ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ହତ୍ୟା, ସୁରାପାନ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମସ୍ୱ ହରଣ, ଗୁରୁ ପତ୍ନୀ ଗମନ ଓ ଉପରୋକ୍ତ ପାପରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ସହିତ ବାସ— ରୂପ 5 ଗୋଟି ଗୁରୁତର ପାପ (ମନୁସଂହିତା 11। 54 ) — ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ହତ୍ୟା, ସୁରାପାନ, ବ୍ରହ୍ମସ୍ୱ ହରଣ, ଗୁରୁ ପତ୍ନୀ ଗମନ ଓ ଉପରୋକ୍ତ ପାପରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ସହିତ ବାସ— ରୂପ5ଗୋଟି ଗୁରୁତର ପାପ (ମନୁସଂହିତା11 54)— The five great sins (viz. murdering a Brāhmaṇa, drinking spirits, stealing from a Brāhmaṇa, adultery with the wife of one's elders and association with the above 4 classes of offenders
