ଗ୍ରା. କ୍ରି. — (ଲକ୍ଷଣାର୍ଥ) ନ ଖାଇଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ସୁଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦେବା (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାର ଜିଭର ମଳକୁ ପରିଷ୍କୃତ କରାଇବା) — (figurative) To give dainty things to a poor or famished person to eat (thus enabling him to have his tongue cleansed of its fur by the process of eating.)
